My F1 Top 5: Fan(s) On Track

The days that the F1 public invaded the track, before all the cars were in the pits is 'long' gone. We at L7M understand why, but looking at old pictures & videos, you should agree with us, that the old track invasions were a beautiful sight. On the other hand there were also moments where an idiot ran on the F1 track while the race was still going on. These 'fan(s)' probably wanted there minute of fame or picked the wrong moment to ask attention for some cause they believed in. We at L7M combined these two groups of track invaders and created another My F1 Top 5: Fan(s) on track.

5. Catalunya, 2004: During the warm-up lap a 'fan' ran over the starting grid with a banner. What was written on the banner is not clear, but the Marshalls got rid of the 'fan' before the drivers lined up for the start of the spanish GP

4. Monza, 2006: The Italian Tifosi managed to invade the track before MSC reached the pits. This meant he had to give them some handsignals to move. There's a really small chance the following thoughts went through his mind: Mansell, Silverstone, 1992, please no.

3. Hockenheim, 2000: A disgruntled employee pops up on the track with some flyers and a banner wrapped around his body. Remember that this is the old Hockenheim track.

2. Silverstone, 2003: The commentator used the right words 'lunatic on the track'. Another man with a message decided to run over Hanger Straight during the race.

1. Silverstone, 1992: We will end with a beautiful moment aka MansellMania.

As a bonus amateur footage of our #1 choice, MansellMania.
